The interview went well - at least, I feel it went well. There were several times my interviewers said "good answer" to my replies, as well as several moments of shared laughter and general good-natured banter. The unfortunate part is, due somewhat to this being a government-funded agency, I'm going to have to wait for TWO weeks before I hear back about the position!
Two weeks! Ack, I need work now, not in two weeks time! Bugger!
Still, there's nothing that can be done about the waiting period. Dani and I left Asheville and North Carolina immediately after the interview, with a great deal of regret. The area is SO nice, and Asheville has a really pleasant vibe to it... we both feel that we could be really happy living in that area.
We're now back in Georgia, and I've resumed looking for work. I'll post again when something interesting happens.
